All houses that are visible in our ads or on the property section of our site are available and ready to move in
immediately.

Our rooms are divided into single en-suites, standard single rooms, or standard double rooms. The single en-
suites are fitted with personal bathrooms while the standard rooms have a shared bathroom.

Single or double connotes the type of bedding structure within the room where single indicates an unshared room while double
connotes that a maximum of two shared individuals will occupy the room.

All our houses have a common area, a spacious kitchen, a laundry area, and large rooms that offer both comfort
and privacy.

All our houses come pre-fit with common area furniture, bedroom and bathroom furniture, and kitchen and
laundry area appliances.

Depending on location, the general price range of a standard room will be about Ksh 23,000. The maximum
amount charged would be Ksh 30,000 for top-level rooms while the minimum charge will be around Ksh 15,000.

We do understand the tough economic times that we are all living in, and for that reason, we have introduced
exciting new ways in which our tenants may earn cash-back rewards, their rents slashed, or even pardoned for a

All incoming Roomies will be vetted and qualified to ensure they are the right fit for the communities they will
be living in. Rest assured that we will not partner you with an individual whose lifestyle choices clash with
yours.

There is a one-month deposit that will be required when you first move in.

Other than that you will have to cater for your own personal and catering needs such as food, and personal effects.

Our list of terms and conditions is listed in our Exclusive Agreement that one of our
representatives will share with you.

In it, you will find all the do’s and don’ts that we require you to abide by to maintain the exclusivity of our neighborhoods.

The vetting process will be carried out in a fair, and non-threatening manner. The intent is to
know you and your lifestyle manner in a non-judgemental format, in order to better match you
with your perfect roommate.

site and it’ll give you a clue of your eligibility.

Roomies is revolutionary in our flexible payment plans, offering our tenants the flexibility to pay weekly if they choose to until the rent is complete.

Your dedicated representative will be able to guide you more personally as to this specific plan.

We currently have properties in Kilimani and Westlands. We are looking to expand into more
locations around Nairobi in order to give you a more varied service offering.

Your Agreement will give details about payment deadlines. We accept rent via Mpesa (our till
number is also on the Agreement) or bank transfer. No cash will be accepted by any of our
representatives.

We have taken sufficient measures to ensure you have a safe and pleasant time while living in our
properties.

However, in case of an immediate emergency, we have a dedicated hotline that links to one of our partner hospitals that might be able to take you in.
